Superbowl weekend coincides with the New Orleans citywide election cycle. A special friend of the Young Republicans and candidate for City Council District A, Jay Batt, has secured rooms for YRs who would like to come to New Orleans Superbowl weekend and help with his campaign. Again, the dates for this deployment are February 5th and 6th. Volunteers are expected to work a shift from 8 am-6 pm on election day February 6th at a tent location (which should have accommodations). Space is limited and volunteers will be accepted on a “first come first serve” basis, so don’t miss this opportunity to help a Republican get elected to City Council and enjoy the sites of the Big Easy.
